Linking

So this time I figured I would talk about something other than clicking around and viewing ads for tiny fractions of BTC; linking.

  • CoinURL - You may have noticed that I use it some on this very blog.  Think of it like getting CoinURL to pay me a fraction of a mBTC to find all these goodies for you.  They don't pay very much at all though; 0.02750000 BTC per 1000 clicks, but if you have popular content, it can add up.
  • adf.ly - Another link shortener/interstitial advertiser, they pay in USD, on average around $4 per 1000 clicks.  But you can always withdraw to Liberty Reserve when you get $5 or more and buy sweet, sweet BTC.  In theory, one might chain their links with...
  • Linkbucks - Advertising partner for links, they also pay in USD.  They have 2 types of links, interstitials and locker types (better for exclusive content).  They also class content as adult or non-adult.  All of these combinations pay differently and I'm not going into it, check it out on their site.  Their minimum payout is $10 and again, can be paid straight to a linked Liberty Reserve account.
I may add a few more sites if I come across them and get a chance to check them out for you all.

Some tips on using these things:
  • Don't spam them, people hate that and it won't pay in the end.
  • Don't use them excessively for every link you ever post; for instance, here you will find all the basic info freely accessible.
  • Do post them in places relevant to what you're linking, interest is an obvious necessity.
  • All the programs I've listed have referral programs - if everyone refers each other, everyone wins.
  • These programs might not be acceptable to certain blogs/webhosts - for example WordPress.com, which won't even let me link to the websites at all deactivated my blog for mentioning them so now I'm on Blogger.
  • Porn sells. This blog isn't about that, but porn linking is tried and true.
